Installing Vani theme 1.1.7 on Wordpress 5.0.3 and WooCommerce 3.5.4. The Theme Options don't appear and Wordpress complains with the following message;
Your theme (vani) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
We use our own template and when there is an error message, go to Woocomerce-> status to scroll down to see notifications about outdated files, then go to Appearance-> Editor Please select the files that it is requesting to edit and modify the version as required by Woocommerce Example from 2.3.0 to 3.5.0 Everything will be resolved when the revision of all items is required http://prntscr.com/mg27mm
Thanks for the help, this was also in another post but I thought I needed to back date things, turns out I needed to forward date things. That said, however did not resolve the problem. I found out that some of the plugins you call optional or recommended are not optional. I had to load nearly all of them to get the "Theme Options" to show up. It also appears that the menu has changed from your documentation (see attached image). You should update all this so other don't need your support as I have :)
You need to download all the plugins that the theme requires at the Appearance-> Install plugin so that the functions in the theme work correctly, and updating obsolete files does not affect their functionality.
