Hi Cindy,

The issue was caused by the ReCaptcha v2 voor Contact Form 7 plugin. I simply turned that option OFF and the issue was resolved.

Hi Kevin,
Is there another similar plugin that is compatible with your theme? Without the Recaptcha, SPAM messages via the contact form have increased enormously.
