Purchased the Credo theme a couple years ago and we did the latest update on our Wordpress's website last week. Since then we don't have access to the WPBakery Page Builder that's included with the theme. WP keeps asking for us to renew and activate our WPBakery's licence, which we do not have since it was included with this theme. How should we proceed to solve this issue?
You don’t need to active the plugins because you still can use them with our theme. It’s just the notification from the plugin’s author, you can ignore it and your site is still working great. As the most themes on ThemeForest have the same feature, you can see that with each purchase, we will integrate the plugins with the theme and you’ll use the plugin without paying any extra fee. We always update the plugins up-to-date to ensure the customers can use plugins with ease.
The issue is that we can do very few updates and modifications to the website's design now since we don't have access to the WPBakery plug-in anymore.
I am aware you integrate the plugins with the theme so we can use the plugin without paying any extra fee, but we don't have access anymore. It seems like the WPBakery plug-it hasn't been updated with the theme on your side which is why they are asking us to renew and activate our WPBakery's licence.
Unfortunately, no. This is a premium plugin and we never offer plugin license key with the theme before. If you wish to access its pro features, you will need to purchase it separately, as this is the policy of Envato.
